Lumen Technologies seeks a Senior Lead Project Controls Specialist to shape resource planning and Opex governance across Custom Networks. You will connect customer demand with workforce supply, collaborate with leaders across functions, and develop data-driven models to improve planning accuracy and delivery confidence.

Your insights will guide executive decisions, address capacity gaps, and align critical commitments with available resources. This is a work-from-home role within the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, Analytics, or related field.
• Eight or more years of experience in project controls, resource planning, or related discipline.
• Experience building resource models, capacity plans, and scenario analyses.

Responsibilities

• Lead short-, medium-, and long-term resource planning across project teams and business functions.
• Build and maintain resource supply-and-demand models reflecting workloads, priorities, vacancies, contractor needs, skills, and capacity constraints.
• Develop scenario-planning frameworks, dashboards, and reporting views for visibility into demand, utilization, vacancies, and risks.
• Identify resource gaps, skill constraints, and capacity risks; recommend practical options.
• Align resource plans with project schedules, annual planning cycles, and changing priorities.
• Facilitate cross-functional planning and governance sessions to validate assumptions and mitigate risks.
• Translate data and modeling outputs into concise recommendations for senior leaders.
• Improve planning standards, data quality, reporting cadence, and forecast reliability.
• Develop deployment-driven revenue realization schedules aligned with milestones for leadership and finance.
