• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 5+ years of applied experience.
• Advanced knowledge in Java with Spring Boot.
• Advanced knowledge in reactive programming using WebFlux.
• Experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine approaches.
• Manage delivery for two scrum teams.
• Drives adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices with measurable validation standards and promoting reuse of proven patterns.
• Be a hands-on coding tech lead minimum 50% of the time.
• Develops secure high-quality production code and reviews code written by others.
• Identifies opportunities to automate remediation to improve operational stability.
• Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams on architectural designs.
• Leads communities of practice across Software Engineering.
• Drives adoption and governance of AI-assisted engineering practices across teams to improve code quality and delivery speed.
