Qualifications

10+ years of applied software engineering experience.
Advanced knowledge in Java on Spring Boot.
Experience delivering system design, development, testing, and operational stability.

Proficient in SDLC, design patterns, and best practices.
Advanced understanding of agile methodologies (CI/CD, Application Resiliency, Security).
Experience with high throughput, low latency distributed systems.
Experience coaching teams on responsible AI usage and secure practices.

Responsibilities

Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting beyond routine problems.
Manage the delivery for two scrum teams.
Drives adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices with measurable validation standards.
Applies SDLC tools to improve the value of automation at scale.
Hands-on coding tech lead at least 50% of the time.
Develops secure production code and reviews others' code.
Identifies opportunities to automate remediation of recurring issues to improve stability.
Leads evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams on architecture and applicability.
Leads communities of practice to promote new technologies.
