Job summary

U.S. Bank is hiring a Senior Audit Project Manager for Payment Services across multiple locations, including Charlotte, Atlanta, Minneapolis, Milwaukee, and New York.

The role emphasizes risk assessment, project leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver independent assurance and advisory services within Corporate Audit Services. You will lead complex audits, manage fieldwork and reporting, and interact with payment services leadership, risk teams, and regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of audit or risk management experience.
• At least 3 years in project leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of Payment Services risks and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Audit Planning & Risk Assessment: develop risk-based plan for 12–18 months; identify auditable entities; monitor emerging risks.
• Audit Execution & Quality Assurance: manage end-to-end audits; review work for accuracy and relevance; draft reports.
• Stakeholder Engagement: build relationships with leadership, risk teams, and regulators.
• Team Leadership & Development: guide and coach audit staff; support recruitment and professional development.
• Reporting & Governance: prepare reports for senior management and regulators; ensure accuracy.
• Other Duties: assist with cross-functional audit projects as needed.
