Job summary

U.S. Bank seeks a Corporate Audit Services Senior Audit Project Manager to lead audit engagements with minimal supervision and coach staff to ensure quality, compliant results. You will monitor progress, assess work and drive risk-informed actions across the engagement team.

The role requires extensive project management experience, familiarity with internal policies, and collaboration across the three lines of defense to deliver precise, well-supported audits for credit-related activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience with 10+ years of applicable audit exposure.
• Strong project management and execution skills with ability to lead engagements across teams.
• Experience reviewing audit work for accuracy and relevance per internal standards.
• Ability to coach staff and ensure high-quality audit output.

Responsibilities

• Independently lead and execute audit engagements or supervise staff as applicable.
• Review audit work for accuracy, completeness and adherence to policies and standards.
• Plan engagements by documenting business processes, risks, controls and audit programs.
• Monitor progress against plan and address delivery risks.
• Provide on-the-job coaching and guidance to audit staff on execution quality.
