Job summary

U.S. Bank’s Payment Services division seeks a Senior Audit Project Manager to lead complex audits, assess risk, and strengthen governance across USB and affiliates. The role emphasizes project management, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder collaboration.

You will manage end-to-end audits, review work for quality, coach staff, and partner with risk management to ensure robust coverage across three lines of defense. Location is U.S. based with on-site work three days a week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
• Typically more than 8 years of applicable experience

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a risk-based audit plan for Payment Services with a 12–18 month horizon
• Manage end-to-end audit projects from planning, fieldwork, and reporting
• Review work to ensure accuracy, relevance, and adherence to CAS policies and IIA Standards
• Draft clear, concise audit reports communicating findings and recommendations
• Build relationships with Payment Services leadership, risk management teams, and regulators
• Collaborate across the three lines of defense for comprehensive coverage
• Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to audit staff
• Assist with cross-functional audit projects and special initiatives
