Job summary

CGS is seeking a Senior Network Engineer in Tampa to lead the evaluation, design, and maintenance of a large-scale wired and wireless network infrastructure. Role includes interfacing with state/local government personnel, internal stakeholders, and vendors, and ensuring system testing and QA.

The candidate will oversee network security patches, software/firmware updates, and reporting, with a focus on reliability and performance across the NPS-like environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred for advanced roles.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain wired and wireless network infrastructure.
• Lead testing, vulnerability assessments, and QA for network projects.
• Document network architecture, configurations, and procedures.
• Review best practices and recommend architecture improvements.
• Coordinate with government personnel, stakeholders, and vendors.
