Paslin is seeking a Machine Builder Senior/Leader to head the layout, installation, and modification of automated tooling systems at our Pontiac site. You will lead mechanical builders, train staff, and ensure timely, safe, and efficient project execution.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years as a Senior Toolmaker or Senior Machine Builder with at least 2 years of leadership experience and hands-on experience with automated assembly systems.

Formación

• 3+ years as a Senior Toolmaker or Senior Machine Builder.
• 2+ years of leadership experience.
• Background in automated assembly systems with mechanical/electrical build knowledge.
• Weld systems knowledge is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead team of machine builders in daily coordination of build and assembly activities.
• Serve as a specialist in the build and assembly of AOBs and kits.
• Optimize time, cost efficiency, and functional performance.
• Complete tooling using engineering drawings, customer specs, and manuals.
• Identify mechanical problems and recommend adjustments/repairs.
• Distribute prints, timelines and documents to builders.
• Identify and report non-conformances; collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Adhere to safety requirements and report unsafe conditions.
• Support the mechanical supervisor with production reporting and team issues.
• All other duties as assigned.
