Job summary

JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. is seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer to drive the design and delivery of trusted market-leading technology products for the Commercial & Investment Bank.

You will lead hands-on development in a fast-paced agile environment, guiding solutions from concept to production at scale. The role emphasizes real-time trading systems, fixed income transformation projects, and collaboration with SPG Trading, Risk and P&L teams to deliver robust, secure data-driven platforms

Qualifications

• Formal training or 5+ years applied experience.
• Experience with Java, Python, C++, Spring Boot and messaging systems.
• Knowledge of .NET framework and SQL/Stored Procedures.
• Experience using Kafka, IBM MQ, Tibco and AMPS as messaging hubs.
• Transformation projects in Fixed Income trading system domain.
• Proven ability to influence across matrixed organizations and deliver at scale.
• Experience in complex projects covering design, testing and stability.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on development, support, and bug fixes for real-time trading system.
• Design and develop trading tools and streamline tech stack across domains.
• Analyze legacy systems to identify improvements and innovations.
• Develop metrics and KPIs; report progress to senior leadership.
• Lead design and development of new systems; dive into existing processes.
• Collaborate with SPG Trading, Risk and P&L teams to build scalable solutions.
• Develop proof-of-concept solutions to prove feasibility.
• Communicate proactively with management and stakeholders.
• Lead pilots to test new technologies and methodologies.
