Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer to join the Infrastructure Platforms team. You will help enhance, build, and deliver trusted technology products in a secure, scalable manner, guiding AI-assisted coding practices and enterprise tooling across squads.

You will contribute deep technical expertise, oversee design decisions, and mentor engineers while advancing automation and secure software development lifecycle standards across the organization.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Advanced in one or more programming language(s)
• Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-used AI-assisted software development tools and establishing validation standards
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows and security considerations
• Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with minimal oversight
• Practical cloud native experience

Responsibilities

• Regularly provides technical guidance to business and technical teams
• Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews others' code
• Drives AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, speed, and operations
• Applies SDLC tooling knowledge to improve automation and value of tooling
• Drives decisions influencing product design, function, and operations
• Acts as SME in focus areas and promotes firmwide SDLC frameworks and tools
