Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Senior Lead Infrastructure Engineer focused on Capacity & Scalability Management within the Consumer and Community Banking team. You will own the capacity strategy, lead cross-functional planning, and modernize processes to deliver scalable, secure infrastructure with AI-assisted capabilities.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Knowledge of infrastructure areas such as hardware, networking, databases, storage, deployment, automation, scaling, resilience or performance assessments.
• Ability to review and validate AI-assisted recommendations with emphasis on resiliency, security and auditability.
• Experience managing or governing capacity at enterprise scale; knowledge of KPIs (CPU, memory, I/O, network).
• Hands-on experience building dashboards and analytics for multi-source analysis.

Responsibilities

• Uses enterprise AI capabilities to accelerate infrastructure analysis and document mitigation options with proper data handling and security.
• Leads reuse-first adoption of AI-assisted practices to reduce recurring issues and ensure validated, auditable changes.
• Owns the end-to-end Capacity Management strategy and operating model for critical CCB applications.
• Leads cross-functional capacity planning and risk management across Applications, Infrastructure, and SRE; chairs working groups.
• Modernizes capacity processes and tooling; influences platform roadmaps for scalability and resilience.
• Advances observability with dashboards, real-time KPIs, forecasting, and SLA-backed alerting.
• Drives automation via governed runbooks for headroom uplift, throttling, and pool rebalancing.
• Builds AI skills/agents to streamline recurring workflows with governance and auditability.
• Uses AI to accelerate monitoring, analysis, and documentation while respecting sensitivity requirements.
• Identifies recurring risks and improves remediation workflows with resiliency and security in mind.
• Produces executive-ready reporting on portfolio status, risks, and recommendations.
