Job summary

JPMorganChase's Infrastructure Engineering team in Consumer and Community Banking seeks an Infrastructure Engineer III. You will apply your knowledge of hardware, networking, storage, deployment practices, automation, and monitoring to support capacity planning and scalable, reliable data systems.

You will partner with platform, app dev, and SRE teams to govern capacity processes, deliver reports, and monitor systems at scale.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in infrastructure engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure disciplines including hardware, networking, storage, deployment practices, automation, scaling, resilience, and performance assessments.
• Experience with managing or governing Capacity or ITIL processes and monitoring tools (CPU, memory, etc.).
• Experience creating dashboards for visualization of data (Grafana, Dynatrace, ELK).
• Experience with BI tools like Power BI or Tableau to analyze data from multiple sources.
• Experience managing cross-functional projects and driving automation to improve IT processes.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily activities supporting the standard Capacity process for critical applications.
• Partner with Application and Infrastructure teams to identify capacity risks and govern remediation statuses.
• Assist with capacity planning recommendations and develop data-driven scaling plans.
• Apply technical knowledge to projects and ensure end-to-end monitoring of applications.
• Deliver improvement opportunities for processes, including automated data views for stakeholders.
• Drive assessments for ad-hoc events to ensure capacity readiness.
