Job summary

JPMorganChase in the United States seeks a Senior Lead Infrastructure Engineer focused on Capacity & Scalability. You will drive AI-assisted capacity, observability, and automation across critical applications, while ensuring resiliency and security.

You will partner with App, Infra, and SRE teams to govern capacity, deliver scalable solutions, and mentor engineers. Strong communication with stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on infrastructure concepts with 5+ years of applied experience.
• Experience in hardware, networking, storage, deployment, automation, resilience or performance assessments.
• Ability to review AI-assisted recommendations before implementation with strong validation.
• Proven enterprise-scale capacity management or ITIL-like governance experience.
• Experience building dashboards/analytics for multi-source data (Grafana, Dynatrace, ELK).
• Cloud experience (AWS) and multi-region patterns; strong security mindset.

Responsibilities

• Uses enterprise AI capabilities to analyze infrastructure signals and document mitigations with proper security handling.
• Leads reuse-first AI adoption across delivery and automation to reduce recurring issues.
• Owns end-to-end Capacity Management strategy and operating model for critical CCB apps.
• Lead cross-functional capacity planning across App, Infra, and SRE; set governance across platforms.
• Modernize capacity processes and tooling; influence platform roadmaps as needed.
• Advance observability with dashboards, real-time KPIs, forecasting and SLA-backed alerting.
• Drive automation via governed runbooks for headroom, load throttling, and pool rebalancing.
• Build and operationalize AI skills/agents to streamline recurring workflows with controls.
• Produce executive-ready reporting on portfolio status, risks, and recommendations.
• Mentor engineers and balance cost, resilience, and performance trade-offs.
