Job summary

Southern Home Services is seeking an HVAC Lead Install Technician to oversee installation, upgrade, and replacement of residential HVAC systems. You’ll lead a team of technicians, ensure high-quality service, and handle complex installations with a focus on safety and compliance.

Responsibilities include mentoring Install Helpers, maintaining tools and inventory, delivering excellent customer service, and working in attics or cramped spaces in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Residential HVAC Lead Install experience.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Holds valid EPA certification for compliance with environmental regulations.
• Strong problem-solving and customer-service focus.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, and/or replace HVAC systems in residential homes with precision.
• Cut, thread, and connect pipes (copper or PVC) and handle high/low voltage wiring.
• Train and mentor Install Helpers on job sites and in the shop.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with homeowners.
• Handle physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects.
• Maintain tools, parts, and the vehicle in an organized and clean condition.
• Work safely at heights and in tight spaces in various weather conditions.
• Adhere to appliance standards and safety regulations; other duties as assigned.
