Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Project Engineer to provide technical leadership across engineering, Procurement, and Construction for its generation fleet, including solar PV, battery storage, and uprates. The role translates requirements into executable plans and ensures safety, reliability, schedule, budget, and quality.

You will coordinate internal and external partners, oversee EPC contractors, review proposals, and document design reviews and risk assessments.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Engineering degree or related science with power plant experience.
• 0–2 years for Engineer I; more for higher levels in power generation or related fields.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management throughout projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead with safety and compliance; enforce regulatory requirements and standards.
• Develop and control technical specifications, engineering packages, and design docs.
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to align requirements and execution.
• Provide technical oversight of EPC contractors, OEMs, and consultants.
• Manage RFIs, contract scope changes, and decisions with documentation.
