Job summary

Entergy Corporation is seeking a Project Engineer at multiple levels (I–Sr staff) for an onsite role in The Woodlands, TX or New Orleans, LA. The position focuses on managing technical aspects of power generation capital projects and coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet project goals.

Candidates should have a BS in engineering (advanced degrees and PE preferred). Travel is required, and relocation assistance is available for this posting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering required; advanced degree preferred.
• PE license preferred; PMP considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead/manage technical aspects of power generation capital projects.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and other Engineers across design, construction and commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with contracts, permits, codes and utility standards.
• Develop records of decision and support prudency reviews.
• Oversee documentation, turnover packages from construction to start-up.
• Travel to FATs, site visits, commissioning, and inspections as required.
