Job summary

Sargent & Lundy seeks a senior electrical engineer in Clayton, MO, to lead engineering in a project team environment, designing, modifying, and analyzing electrical systems for projects from retrofits to new generation installations.

Responsibilities include power distribution design, procurement specs, and coordination with clients to ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes. Requires PE licensure or ability to obtain it, and 10+ years in related fields.

Qualifications

• BSEE degree from ABET-accredited program with emphasis in power systems.
• PE license highly preferred or ability to earn one.
• 10+ years in power plant or industrial plant design, focusing on detailed system design.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering in a project team, designing and analyzing electrical systems.
• Prepare specifications for major electrical power equipment and services.
• Assist project manager to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.
• Coordinate design activities to meet codes and client requirements.
• Prepare and review design drawings and 3‑D models; produce input for other drawings.
