Job summary

WSP Global Inc. in Boise, ID and other U.S. locations seeks a Senior Lead Electrical Engineering Manager to lead design and construction of electrical systems for DoD and federal programs.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and ensure compliance across design-build and other delivery methods. Candidates should have 15+ years of experience, a PE license, US citizenship, and proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Navisworks, SKM, ETAP, and AGI 32.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 15+ years post-education experience as an electrical engineer.
• Professional Engineering license.
• US citizenship is required due to client requirements.
• 3+ years of experience in Alternative Delivery projects.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical design, especially for DoD criteria and UFC/FC standards.
• Proficiency with design software including Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Navisworks, SKM, ETAP, AGI 32.
• Strong technical writing and cross-functional leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, review and approve electrical design plans, ensuring data integrity and code compliance.
• Deliver design projects in design-bid-build, Design-Build, or Alternative Delivery frameworks.
• Apply high-level electrical engineering techniques across concept to operation phases.
• Plan future-ready designs accounting for safety and end-user functionality.
• Involved from inception to completion in managing electrical design and construction.
• Oversee cross-functional teams, budgets, hours and expenses, and regulatory memos.
• Prepare data visuals and technical reports for findings and recommendations.
• Manage client relations and provide technical input on pursuits.
• Develop stakeholder relationships and uphold conduct policies.
• Perform additional responsibilities as needed.
