Job summary

Klaviyo Inc. seeks a Senior Lead Software Engineer within the Developer Infrastructure team to own the architecture, health, and dependencies of the backend.

You will partner with CI/CD, Web Platform, Environments, Quality Tools & Testing and AI Enablement to shape a cohesive infrastructure strategy that accelerates engineering velocity. Your leadership will mentor other engineers, drive platform upgrades, improve developer productivity, and resolve complex performance and reliability

Qualifications

• 12 years of software development experience with strong CS fundamentals and distributed systems knowledge.
• BA or BS in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience.
• Deep expertise in programming languages (Go, Python) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with containerization (Kubernetes, Docker) and IaC (Terraform).
• Ability to define technical strategy and influence architecture across teams.

Responsibilities

• Define technical strategy within Klaviyo backend scope and execute to improve architecture and infrastructure.
• Lead dependency management for backend and third-party services to ensure security and reliability.
• Oversee platform upgrades and rollouts from design to production deployment.
