Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years in Database Reliability/SRE, with leadership in large-scale projects.
• Deep PostgreSQL expertise plus experience with MySQL, MongoDB or similar DBs.
• Proficient in Go or Python for automation and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own reliability roadmap for database platforms and high availability design.
• Build automation first DB platforms using Kubernetes operators and IaC.
• Define SLOs, monitor health, capacity, and performance.
• Optimize cost and performance across cloud and on-premises DBs.
• Collaborate with app teams on migrations, zero-downtime deployments.
• Mentor engineers, review designs, and drive engineering maturity.
