JPMorganChase & Co. is seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer to architect and deliver an enterprise-scale data platform enabling trusted risk data products in a secure, scalable manner.

You will lead architecture decisions, mentor engineering teams, and collaborate with senior leaders to govern data across the organization, balancing innovation with security and cost considerations.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 5+ years of applied experience.
• Experience delivering large-scale data platforms (multi-tenant lakehouse/data mesh).
• Proficiency in Python and/or Java (or Scala) and SQL in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Define platform technical direction and lead architecture/design using Lakehouse on Databricks and AWS.
• Deliver secure, production-grade code for data-intensive systems (ingestion, transformation, serving).
• Automate onboarding, provisioning, and orchestration of pipelines for scale.
