The role emphasizes mentoring junior staff, establishing governance, and driving adoption of core data technologies while upholding the firm's culture and inclusion goals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data architecture roles with OLTP/OLAP experience.
• Deep knowledge of data architecture best practices and trends.
• Hands-on experience with cloud databases or data lake platforms.
• Ability to publish Architecture Decision Records and promote standards.
• Broad data tech exposure including governance, BI tools, and unstructured data.
• Familiarity with data governance, catalogs, vocabularies, and classification.

Responsibilities

• Drive data architecture principles across applications in the portfolio.
• Own database standards and collaborate on sensible defaults.
• Design target state data architectures to consolidate to a data lake.
• Define data processing patterns for streaming, API, and batch flows.
• Serving as SME for data architecture across 100+ apps.
• Mentor junior architects on data practices, modeling, and storage.
• Champion diversity and inclusion within the team.
