Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 5+ years of hands-on experience.
• Hands-on AWS experience in data management: Glue, EMR, Athena, Redshift, Lake Formation.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, and SQL for enterprise development, debugging, and maintenance.
• Experience leading AI-assisted development tools and validating AI outputs.
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows and secure delivery practices.
• Solid knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.

Responsibilities

• Designs secure Data Lake solutions within the AWS environment.
• IaC development including Terraform scripts and Python/Java to create services in AWS.
• Evaluates new AWS data management features.
• Promotes AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
• Improves tooling and automation within the SDLC for better reliability.
• Analyzes data to drive improvements in software applications.
• Collaborates with teams to design and troubleshoot software solutions.
• Contributes to engineering communities and events exploring new tech.
