Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering and a PE license are required.
• 6 or more years of resident engineering experience on transportation projects.
• OSHA 10, IDOT HMA, IDOT Concrete Level 1 and IDOT Aggregates certifications are required.
• Strong communication and partnering approach to construction management.
• Experience with IDOT, Tollway or local agency projects is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Lead and supervise the construction inspection team.
• Plan, prepare, and analyze construction documents.
• Manage construction contracts utilizing CMMS software.
• Prepare inspector daily reports for contractor progress estimates.
• Review contractor schedules, traffic plans, and submittals for contract compliance.
• Meet with contractors to resolve issues and coordinate work plans.
• Ensure safety of personnel and the traveling public.
• Administer contracts and oversee inspectors and office staff.
• Monitor contractor work for scheduling, budget, and technical compliance.
• Conduct progress meetings and prepare status reports.
