Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Senior Lead Cybersecurity Architect to define principles, standards, and design patterns for secure multi-cloud and on-premises environments. You will lead cross-functional teams to implement secure architectures and collaborate with product and enterprise engineering to adoption.

Responsibilities include policy development, governance patterns, and incident response participation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 8 years of experience.
4+ years focused on cybersecurity.
Experience with AWS cloud and on-prem infrastructure.
Ability to articulate cybersecurity policy objectives to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong writing and executive presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Identify and recommend cybersecurity policies, standards, and guardrails.
Lead cybersecurity guideline definition across product and enterprise architecture groups.
Develop secure design patterns for engineering teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to apply secure release processes.
Define cybersecurity guardrails with business and engineering teams.
Participate in security events and incident response to close gaps.
