Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 8 years of experience; alternate combos allowed.
• At least 4 years focused on cybersecurity.
• Practical expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure and on-premises infrastructure.
• Ability to articulate cybersecurity policy objectives to stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, writing, and executive presentation skills.
• Collaborate with Cox cybersecurity teams to implement best practices.
• Knowledge of frameworks (ISO 27000, NIST, FFIEC) and related regulations.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and cross-functional leadership.
• Experience leading AI-enabled architectural governance and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Identify and recommend cybersecurity policies, standards, procedures, and guardrails.
• Drive definition of cybersecurity guidelines across product and enterprise architecture groups.
• Develop secure design patterns for engineering adoption.
• Contribute to governance patterns, policies and standards.
• Provide complex risk analysis and propose innovative solutions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure release processes.
• Define guardrails for seamless adoption of secure design patterns.
• Participate in security events and incident response to close gaps.
• Research emerging security trends and technologies and propose enhancements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to factor security into decision making.
• Incorporate vulnerability management, governance, R&C, and AI governance into standards.
