Job summary

Cox Automotive seeks a Senior Lead Cybersecurity Architect to define principles, standards, and patterns for secure multi-cloud and on‑premises environments. You will collaborate with product and enterprise teams to establish guidelines and guardrails, driving secure design and governance across Cox’s architecture landscape.

Lead cross‑functional teams, assess risks, and stay ahead of threats with AI‑enhanced governance and continuous controls.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 8+ years in a related field; alternative combos allowed.
At least 4 years focused on cybersecurity.
Practical expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure and on-premises infrastructure.
Ability to articulate cybersecurity policies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Excellent customer service, writing, and executive presentation skills.
Collaborate with Cox entities' cybersecurity teams to implement best practices.
Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27000, NIST, FFIEC) and regulations.
Experience with Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

Identify and recommend cybersecurity policies, standards, and guardrails.
