Job summary

The Housing Authority of Kansas City, Missouri is seeking a skilled supervisor for the Choice Case Management and Relocation Team. You will manage a caseload, develop individualized plans, coordinate services with United Way, and track outcomes to promote self-sufficiency.

You will lead team meetings, ensure compliance with HUD and grant requirements, and maintain thorough program records and budgets while supporting residents over a multi-year engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in social work or related field.
• Minimum five years of case management experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Bi-lingual encouraged and culturally competent in working with diverse families.
• Computer skills and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily activities of the Choice Case management team.
• Develops ICPs including health, education, and employment needs for each family.
• Provides assessment of eligible residents to determine service needs.
• Coordinates with United Way and HUD partners to meet program metrics.
• Maintains program records and ICPs; tracks referrals and outcomes.
• Leads team meetings and coordinates relocation and community services.
• Manages budget and prepares monthly/quarterly/annual statistics.
