Job summary

Lumen is seeking a senior lead communications manager to translate complex product and technology strategies into clear, engaging narratives for employees. You will counsel executives, shape narratives, and lead enterprise-wide programs that advance the product and technology story.

You’ll collaborate with Product, Technology, Public Relations, and Marketing to drive change communications, craft executive-ready content, and measure engagement to improve clarity and alignment across the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, PR, Marketing or English.
• Typically 8+ years in internal/executive/product/tech communications.
• Proven ability to advise senior leaders and craft executive-level messages.
• Strong writing, editing and storytelling for complex topics.
• Experience leading large-scale product/technology transformation communications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted communications advisor to product and technology leaders.
• Shape executive narratives articulating vision, strategy, priorities and progress.
• Develop executive presentations, town halls, keynote materials and internal thought leadership.
• Prepare leaders for high-visibility moments and organizational announcements.
• Drive product and technology storytelling for internal audiences.
