Job summary

DSA Inc. is seeking a Lead Appian Developer to drive low-code design, development, modernization, and sustainment of contract writing and related processes in a government context.

The role requires 5+ years in Appian, DoD experience, active Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret, and strong collaboration with architects, testers, DevSecOps, and cloud teams to deliver scalable Appian solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.
• Appian Senior or Lead Developer certification and CompTIA Sec+.
• 5+ years of hands-on Appian development.
• Deep experience designing, configuring, and delivering Appian applications in enterprise environments.
• Translate epics, features, and user stories into scalable workflows, interfaces, process models, and integrations.
• Knowledge of workflow automation, testing support, release coordination, and production sustainment.
• Experience mentoring developers, conducting code reviews, and enforcing Appian best practices.
• Experience supporting cloud environments, with knowledge of AWS, Azure.
• Working knowledge of AI concepts and practical applications.
• Active Secret clearance; ability to obtain Top Secret clearance based on Government requirements.

• Experience modernizing legacy capabilities in Appian, supporting federal acquisition or contract writing workflows, and using an Appian-first approach across shared IL5/IL6 codebases is highly desired

DSA - Salary Pay Range

The posted salary range is a good-faith estimate. Actual compensation will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and other job-related factors.

$180,000 - $190,000 USD
