Job summary

DSA Inc. is seeking a Lead Appian Developer to drive design, development, modernization, and sustainment of contract writing and related business processes using Appian in a high-security environment.

Requires 5+ years of hands-on Appian development, cloud experience with AWS/Azure, DoD familiarity, and ability to obtain Top Secret clearance. Expect collaboration with architects, testers, and DevSecOps teams to deliver enduring solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.
• Appian Senior or Lead Developer certification and CompTia Sec+
• 5+ years of hands-on Appian development
• Deep experience designing, configuring, and delivering Appian applications in enterprise environments
• Ability to translate epics, features, and user stories into scalable workflows, interfaces, process models, and integrations
• Knowledge of workflow automation, testing support, release coordination, and production sustainment
• Experience mentoring developers, conducting code reviews, and enforcing Appian best practices
• Experience supporting cloud environments, with knowledge of common platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Working knowledge of AI concepts and practical applications
• Active Secret clearance; ability to obtain Top Secret clearance based on Government requirements.

Summary

Required Skills

DSA - Salary Pay Range

The posted salary range is a good-faith estimate. Actual compensation will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and other job-related factors.

$180,000 - $190,000 USD
