Job summary

KCAS Bio, a fast-growing CRO, seeks a Sr. Scientist to lead GLP bioanalytical studies using LC-MS/MS. You will oversee sample prep, data review, and reporting, act as study lead, and interact with QA and clients to ensure compliant, timely results.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in a GLP-regulated laboratory environment.
• Strong experience with bioanalytical sample preparation and LC-MS/MS workflows.
• Experience executing regulated studies including data review, reporting, and audit support.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical and operational issues in a production setting.
• Experience interacting with Quality Assurance and supporting audits/inspections.
• Prior study lead or PI-type responsibilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute and oversee all phases of assigned studies including sample prep, LC-MS/MS analysis, data review, and reporting in a regulated environment.
• Act as lead scientist on studies, guiding junior staff and providing training.
• Communicate with clients regarding study conduct and data delivery.
• Coordinate with QAU to resolve audit findings and compliance issues.
• Own sample identification decisions and resolve discrepancies with sites/clients.
• Manage timelines, deliverables, and status reporting to management and clients.
• Ensure compliance with study protocols, SOPs, and GLP requirements.
• Review data for accuracy and integrity prior to reporting.
• Assist with audit readiness and inspections as needed.
• Provide troubleshooting support for assay performance and production operations.
