Job summary

Altasciences is seeking a Scientist/Bioanalytical Principal Investigator in the LC-MS/MS group to lead method validation and sample analysis for regulated nonclinical studies, working closely with clients and cross-functional teams in a GLP environment.

The role requires 5+ years in a bioanalytical CRO, expertise with LC-MS instrumentation, and the ability to mentor junior staff while ensuring regulatory compliance and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a bioanalytical scientist in a CRO
• Experience with LC-MS instrumentation and software
• GLP environment and CRO experience

Responsibilities

• Serve as Principal Investigator for LC-MS/MS analysis in support of regulated nonclinical studies
• Maintain client communications and attend recurring calls
• Prepare driving documents for in-lab analysis and deliver scientific reports on time
• Collaborate with regulatory departments for quality and compliance oversight
• Mentor and train junior staff and improve lab processes
