Job summary

The University of Georgia- FACS is seeking a Senior Research Scientist to lead the LC-MS/MS bioanalytical laboratory, ensuring high-quality analytical testing, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. This role oversees method development, validation, and sample analysis supporting preclinical and clinical studies in accordance with GLP and ICH M10.

You will provide strategic leadership, manage multiple client projects, and mentor staff while upholding data integrity and sponsor

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Bioanalytical Chemistry and at least 10 years of directly related research experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring of scientists and staff.
• Experience with regulatory guidelines (GLP, ICH M10, FDA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the LC-MS/MS bioanalytical laboratory.
• Oversee method development, validation, and transfer.
• Ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Manage budgets and resources across multiple client projects.
• Provide staff training and career development.
