Job summary

Ethos is seeking a Laboratory Manager to lead the day‑to‑day operations of multiple high‑throughput lab departments including LC-MS/MS, Confirmation, and Validations. You will drive compliance with CLIA and GLP, supervise department Supervisors, and partner with leaders on new projects.

Strong coaching, mentoring, and project management skills are essential. The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in a relevant science and hands‑on experience with high‑complexity toxicology labs, LIS

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or higher degree in a relevant analytical science with several years in a high‑complexity lab.
Experience supervising or managing high‑throughput toxicology lab departments.
Strong knowledge of CLIA, COLA, CAP and/or NYS standards and GLP requirements.
Proficient use of laboratory information systems and related software.

Responsibilities

Oversee day‑to‑day operations of all assigned laboratory departments.
Provide consistent leadership and coaching to Supervisors and staff.
Ensure departments meet performance metrics and comply with SOPs, GLP, and CLIA standards.
Identify efficiency opportunities and optimize instrument workflows to minimize downtime.
Lead cross‑functional collaboration with Quality, Operations, and Development teams.
