Altasciences is seeking an Associate Director, LCMS to provide scientific leadership in bioanalysis by LC-MS/MS within the Laboratory Sciences department. You will manage staff performance, support scientific initiatives, and contribute to project success and client satisfaction.

The role requires extensive experience in LCMS, people management, and collaboration with senior leadership to ensure quality, regulatory compliance, and efficient operations across projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of related experience. Will consider M.Sc. with 7+ years of relevant experience; or B.Sc. with 10+ years of relevant experience in bioanalysis or other pertinent laboratory based qualifications in a CRO or Pharma in lieu of Ph.D.
• 3+ years related experience in a multidisciplinary environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and write advanced reports and correspondence; communicate effectively to groups

Responsabilités

• Provide personnel management: scheduling projects, training and development, performance reviews and feedback.
• Conduct scientific reviews of driving documents and reports; raise issues to senior management.
• Contribute to financial performance via revenue, GM targets and client satisfaction.
• Ensure quality and regulatory compliance by staff; address KPI and quality issues promptly.
• Drive efficiency and cost-control through operational improvements.
• Provide scientific support to assigned scientists; manage timelines and communicate delays to stakeholders; adjust resources as needed.
• May serve as Bioanalytical Responsible/Contributing/PI as needed.
• Set up and implement training for LCMS staff.
• Review costing assessments and schedule projects with Business Development and Operations.
• Contribute to growth and strategic planning of Altasciences LCMS services.
• Collaborate with other management; cover leadership absence when required.
• Participate in internal/external presentations and conferences.
• Uphold Health and Safety standards and proper lab practices.
• May act as Test Site / Facility Management for validations and method approvals.
