Job summary

INEOS Olefins & Polymers USA is seeking an Analytical Chemist to join the Battleground Site's laboratory team. You will lead LC/GC analyses, coordinate testing, and drive investigations for production and development.

Strong Instrumentation skills and leadership in safety are essential. In this role you will mentor technicians, develop methods, and ensure data quality while supporting polymer production processes and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or equivalent.
• Ph.D. preferred or BS with 10+ years relevant experience.
• Adept in instrumentation utilization – HPLC, LC-MS, TOF-MS, GC-FID, GC-MS.
• Experience with xylene solubles and chemical extractions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support analytical testing for process materials and products.
• Coordinate lab workload and maintain quality records (control charts).
• Provide safety leadership and participate in lab management activities.
• Develop and review methods, train personnel, and troubleshoot instruments.
• Support production, product development, and operations projects.
• Prepare data-driven reports and maintain lab equipment.
