Job summary

INEOS Olefins & Polymers USA at the Battleground site in La Porte, TX is seeking an Analytical Chemist to lead the Liquid Chromatography laboratory and support process materials testing, product development, and production investigations.

You will guide method development, evaluate new instruments, train technicians, and coordinate lab work with a cross-functional team to resolve customer and plant issues.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or equivalent.
• PhD preferred; BS with 10+ years acceptable.
• Experience with HPLC, LC-MS, GC-FID, GC-MS required.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytical testing on process materials and products.
• Coordinate lab activities and ensure data quality and records.
• Provide safety leadership and mentor technicians.
• Develop and validate new methods and assess new instruments.
• Support production, product development, and operations projects.
