Job summary

EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants in Chicago seeks an experienced Broker / Account Executive for its Law Firm specialty team. The role focuses on client servicing and marketing with no sales quota, providing day‑to‑day client service, renewal support, and coordination of all renewals and related activities.

The position requires 7+ years of insurance industry experience, especially with law firm accounts, excellent communication, and strong detail orientation.

Qualifications

• REQUIRED: Current experience servicing and marketing accounts for law firm groups.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with clients and internal stakeholders.
• High attention to detail and ability to learn software systems quickly.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities, deadlines and problem solve for clients.

Responsibilities

• Support team by helping lead new business opportunities and renewals.
• Prepare and present renewal results to clients.
• Coordinate pre-renewal work and renewal strategy with team members.
• Negotiate with underwriters and wholesalers (US, London, Bermuda) and review quotes.
• Broker coverage lines (GL, BOP, Workers Comp., Commercial Auto, Property, Umbrella) and endorsements.
• Maintain files and electronic records per policy.
• Build strong underwriter and client relationships.
• Handle day-to-day client service requests and contract risk reviews.
