Job summary

Holland & Knight LLP seeks a Senior Billing Specialist to generate monthly client invoices in a fast-paced law firm setting. The role coordinates with Partners and assistants using Aderant, researching billing questions, reviewing pre-bills, and handling a high volume of complex bills.

Based in Tampa, FL or Dallas, TX, the position requires 5+ years of billing experience in a law firm, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to multi-task under pressure with strict deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or substituted by relevant legal work experience.
• Experience with law firm billing processes is preferred.
• Strong proficiency with Windows-based software (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and sharp analytical abilities.
• Experience with Aderant and E-Billing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process client bills via Aderant software.
• Respond to billing questions and resolve issues.
• Review and edit pre-bills per attorney/secretary requests.
• Handle high volume of complex bills.
• Verify accuracy of billing and supporting documentation.
• Generate ad hoc reports for attorneys as needed.
• Support special projects and additional duties.
• Some weekend work during year-end Q4.
