Job summary
Blue Origin seeks a Launch & Test Engineer to join the OLS Test Operations team at Cape Canaveral Space Coast, FL. You will test, inspect, and troubleshoot ground support equipment for orbital rocket programs, including GS2 test campaigns and avionic integration, with cross-functional collaboration across design, QA, and production.
The role requires hands-on avionics expertise, familiarity with fluid/propellant systems, and strong safety discipline to ensure launch readiness and reliability for
Qualifications
- Bachelor-level engineering degree from an accredited university.
- Direct experience operating or integrating avionics for cryogenics, fluids, or propulsion test stands.
- Demonstrated understanding of avionics commands/readings and real-time console operations.
- Hands-on HIL/HITL, EGSE, telemetry, harnessing, and instrumentation integration.
Responsibilities
- Design, construct, operate, and maintain test facilities for orbital rockets and launch vehicle systems.
- Generate and execute test procedures for high-pressure gas, cryogenic, and fluid systems.
- Lead test operations with technicians; inspect test articles and equipment.
- Review test data to assess facility health and performance at system and component levels.
- Develop maintenance processes and inspection plans for test systems.
