Job summary

Blue Origin in Florida is seeking a hands-on Test and Launch Engineer to join our Launch Operations and OLS Test Operations team. You will test, maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot electrical instrumentation and controls supporting ground systems for launch operations.

The role requires translating engineering requirements into robust test and maintenance procedures, collaborating with design engineering, quality assurance, supply chain, and production teams to accelerate spaceflight readiness,

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a relevant technical field.
• Experience with test teams as a fluids test engineer, console operator, or equivalent hands-on role.
• Experience with electrical equipment such as electronics, transducers, PLCs, and software systems.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware and instrumentation related to fluid, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• 1+ years of experience developing English work instructions or test procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the launch facility components are properly maintained to support launch activities.
• Translate engineering requirements into robust, repeatable test and maintenance processes that support Blue Origin's mission.
• Collaborate with design engineering, quality assurance, supply chain, and production teams to accelerate building a road to space.
• Develop and maintain test documentation, work instructions, and inspection plans for ground systems.
