Bon Appétit Management Company is hiring a Senior Cook in Sunnyvale, CA for a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. The role requires at least two years of supervisory experience and proficiency in Latin or Latin American cuisine, with a fixed pay rate of $25.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include preparing Latin dishes per recipes, supervising kitchen staff, and maintaining HACCP compliance while ensuring food quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Two years of supervisory experience in a professional kitchen.
• Two years of Latin or Latin American cuisine cooking experience in a professional kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of Latin dishes according to standardized recipes and station menus.
• Knowledge of traditional and modern cooking techniques including braising, roasting, and grilling.
• Familiarity with common Latin ingredients, spices, and preparation styles.
• Oversee cooking activities of food service associates as assigned by Food Service Director.
• Operate and clean equipment after each use; perform scheduled routine cleaning.
• Store, label and date food items according to policy; maintain organized storage.
• Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
• Assist in maintaining accurate daily production records and logs.
• Assist in cross training of employees.
