The Hartford is seeking a Specialist Claims for its Complex Claims Unit - Bodily Injury (CCU BI) to independently manage the most complex, high-value bodily injury claims. This role requires deep knowledge of claims, a strategic approach to resolution, and willingness to train others.

Qualificações

• 5+ years latent bodily injury claims experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking ability.
• Proven ability to present in roundtable settings with a well-reasoned evaluation.
• Proven track record of effective negotiations/settlement of high-value claims.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word and Excel).

Responsabilidades

• Independently manage all aspects of the most complex, high-value claims.
• Contribute to audits, projects and training initiatives.
• Provide proactive communications to customers and business partners.
• Review and analyze multiple complex policies and coverage parts.
• Provide clear coverage positions and assessment explanations.
• Conduct investigations regarding claims and/or lawsuits.
• Manage litigation and budgeting activities for claims.
• Develop coverage and liability risk transfer strategies.
• Provide detailed recommendations to leadership.
• Attend mediations and trials as necessary.
• Maintain accurate expense, reserve, and financial transactions.
