Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials, Welding Engineering or related discipline with 4+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with laser processing, resistance welding and other precision joining technologies.
• Experience using data-driven approaches to establish process capability and optimize manufacturing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and optimization of advanced manufacturing processes for implantable medical devices.
• Design and execute DOE, process characterization, and test methods to establish process windows and correlate parameters to performance.
• Collaborate with Design, Materials, Technology and R&D teams to influence design decisions and manufacturing methods.
• Support process transfer, manufacturing scale-up, and technology implementation with internal and external partners.
• Develop hermetic sealing and leak-testing processes, including helium leak testing, to meet device requirements.
