Qualifications

• BS degree in a relevant engineering discipline is required.
• MS degree with a minimum of three years of relevant experience is preferred.
• CAM programming and development experience is essential.
• Solid background in SolidWorks/3D modeling and design.
• Proficiency in SPC methodologies is expected.
• Laser cutting and/or laser welding experience is a plus.
• Experience in the medical device industry is advantageous.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills are desired.

Responsibilities

• Develop laser cutting and welding processes from prototype to manufacturing validation.
• Plan and coordinate engineering activities for standard production and new product development.
• Implement laser cutting, laser welding, and deburring processes for small medical components.
• Program CAM and optimize motion systems; troubleshoot and document results.
• Improve CAM post processors and streamline HMI interfaces.
• Support equipment guidelines and tooling modifications for process improvements.
• Evaluate new laser technologies and collaborate with external labs for proof of concept.
