Job summary

BrightView Landscapes is seeking a skilled Landscaper III to maintain industrial, commercial, and public properties. You will work independently, operate commercial-grade equipment, and care for plants and landscape features to ensure high standards.

Qualified candidates are 18+, with Level 3 equipment certification, pesticide certification, and a track record of accident-free performance. This role requires outdoor work, teamwork, and flexibility for varying hours.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Certified on level 3 equipment (bed edger, chainsaw, power pole, pruner, leaf vacuum, skid steer).
• Certified to apply pesticides.
• Has demonstrated 6 months of accident-free performance.

Responsibilities

• Proactively maintain site details.
• Lead and perform job duties when the Crew Leader is not on site.
• Work with the Crew Leader to solve problems and overcome schedule challenges.
• Complete punch list items without supervision.
• Offer solutions to deliver quality results.
• Mow turf with power mowers, trim and edge with gas tools, operate a gas blower.
• Prune shrubs and low trees as needed.
• Identify irrigation problems and correct with Crew Leader.
• Repair broken sprinkler heads.
• Plant and maintain flowerbeds.
• Operate edger and line trimmer along sidewalks and beds.
• Pick up trash and blow leaves onto turf before mowing.
• Mulch leaves and organic matter while mowing.
• Weed by hand or with hoe.
• Coach team on maintenance of trucks and trailers.
• Identify common weeds and suggest controls.
• Lead safety tailgate talks and coach team members.
• Support Crew Leader/Production Manager with coaching.
