Job summary

Snipebridge is seeking an experienced Senior Designer for its award-winning landscape architecture studio in California. The role focuses on guiding project teams, shaping design narratives, and ensuring alignment with client goals and site-specific considerations.

TheSenior Designer will partner with Partners and Project Managers to drive design excellence across scales and typologies while maintaining rigorous project management and collaboration within a renowned studio environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Landscape Architecture or Architecture required.
• Licensed Landscape Architect (CA preferred, but not required).
• Authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Minimum 15 years in a high-level design leadership position at a comparable firm.
• Knowledge of California Native and Mediterranean plants and planting design.
• Training in horticulture and awareness of industry best practices regarding planting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Guide project teams through the studio process, providing inspiration, guidance, and oversight.
• Aligns project work with the firm's philosophy and core values.
• Attend early design/site meetings to capture big-picture ideas for the project story.
• Develop a project story document and communicate the vision to project teams.
• Provide regular updates on project status and needs to Partners.
• Coordinate with Project Managers on budgets and progress.
• Present to project teams when needed in collaboration with Partners.
• Guide Project Managers in firm standards and workflow.
