Job summary

Snipebridge is seeking an experienced Senior Designer to lead design teams in landscape architecture projects across varied scales in California. The role emphasizes design leadership, project oversight, and collaboration with Partners in a studio setting.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture or Architecture.
• Licensed Landscape Architect (California license preferred, but not required).
• Currently authorized to work in the US without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• A minimum of 15 years in a high-level design leadership position at a comparable firm.
• Possesses a knowledge of California Native and Mediterranean plants and planting design.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams through oversight and direction with Project Managers.
• Inspire, guide, and maintain project design quality and process.
• Attend early design/site meetings with Partners and capture big-picture ideas.
• Develop project story documents and communicate vision to staff.
• Provide updates on project status, budgets, and progress to Partners.
• Coordinate with Project Managers on budgets and reports.
• Present to project teams as needed alongside Partners.
• Ensure adherence to studio standards and workflows.
• Guide PMs on priority setting, responsiveness, expectations, and closure.
