Job summary

Adamas Energy seeks a Senior Landman to add oil and gas reserves and preserve leasehold interests across an assigned area, serving as the main liaison with landowners on leasehold matters.

The role requires a bachelor's in a related field, 7–10 years of landman experience with an in-house E&P operator, and preferably AAPL CPL certification; candidates must understand state and federal regs and possess strong analytical and research skills; mentorship of junior landmen is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Petroleum Land Management or Energy Commerce preferred).
• 7–10 years of experience as a Landman with an in-house E&P operator.
• AAPL CPL certification preferred.
• Knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations; strong analytical and research skills.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate oil and gas lease rights with mineral owners.
• Analyze and interpret lease-purchase agreements; evaluate acreage and review titles.
• Cure title prior to drilling and determine drilling requirements.
• Prepare and negotiate farm-in/farm-out, joint operating, and other agreements.
• Manage existing leasehold, rental, and unit obligations.
• Mentor and train less-experienced landmen.
